
When I started flying for the airlines in the late 70’s I heard about “the good old days”. Now when you talk with senior airline employees, they talk about “the good old days” and are talking about the late 70’s and 80’s.
Which means that for the new hires today, this is the “good old days” for them.
So what was it really like flying in the “good old days”? Was it as glamorous as people say?
