That my friend is a lot of airplane seats. Even if everyone was flying in an A380 and we know they are not.
So have you ever wondered how many plane there in the world?
It’s been just over 100 years since the first airplane flew and there seems to be no end to the growing passenger traffic and the number of airplanes and airlines all over the world.
Well the Telegraph in the UK just did a very interesting story on this subject. They say that according to aviation analysts Ascend, the total number of aircraft currently in service is approximately 23,600 – that includes passenger and cargo aircraft. It reckons there are 2,500 more in storage.
But is it enough?
