Looking for a new and exotic destination? Then you might want to check out Baku!!
The hit European TV show Eurovision just took place in Baku and the exposure has a lot of Europeans interesting in going to Baku.
So first of all, where is Baku? Baku is the capital of Azerbaijan, located south of Russia and north of Iran. It is located on the coast of the Caspian Sea and yes it is safe for Americans and Europeans to travel here.

But in January of this year the new “ASAN e-visa” system came online, allowing citizens of 81 countries, including the UK, Australia, and US, to quickly apply and receive the visa via email. Visitors who take advantage will find plenty of things to see: a cosmopolitan, affordable capital of good eats, incredible architecture – and, most importantly, friendly cats.
The UK paper, the Independent, just did a story on the 10 things you will want to do when you visit Baku.
