On a recent trip thru Denver DIA, I experienced a test by TSA to scan my hand and fingerprints. It compares those results with what they have on file for me from my Global Entry status.
It took just a few seconds and verified my ID. No need to a drivers license or any photo ID.
Now since this was just a test I still had to go to the TSA booth and show my ID and boarding pass. But this is evidently the future of processing passengers at the airport.
So what exactly is going on and what plans are there to speed passengers thru the airport using fingerprint and facial recognition?
The Telegraph in the UK just did a story on this outlining what is coming.
