October 8, 2026 — Margaritaville at Sea has put a 2027 Annual Cruise Membership on sale, priced from $2,499 for two adults, that covers unlimited eligible sailings of up to seven nights on all three of its ships through December 31, 2027.

Cruise Industry News reported the launch on October 8. Returning holders of the line’s Paradise Pass can buy the membership from $1,999 for a limited time. Benefits begin at purchase, so early buyers get roughly 15 months of use. Blackout dates apply, and the report does not list them.

What it means for airline travelers

  • This suits non-rev travelers well. A pass with no per-cruise fare removes the cost of a missed sailing, which is the main risk of flying standby to a cruise. If the flight does not work out, you take the next cruise.
  • Four homeports, many airports. Palm Beach (PBI), Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Miami (MIA) serve the South Florida ships, Tampa (TPA) serves Islander, and Houston (IAH or HOU) will serve Beachcomber from Galveston starting in October 2027.
  • Do the math against industry rates. Before you buy, compare the membership with what you would pay per sailing at any interline or travel-industry rate, and ask what taxes and fees are charged on each cruise.
  • Ask for the blackout calendar first. Holiday weeks are both the likeliest blackout dates and the hardest weeks to fly standby.
  • Florida-based employees gain the most. Short sailings from Palm Beach and Tampa can be reached by car, with no flight at all.
