October 16, 2026 — Azamara has opened bookings for two shorter versions of its 2029 World Cruise aboard Azamara Quest, giving guests 179-night and 139-night alternatives to the full 195-night voyage that went on sale in September.

The three options

Option Route Dates Highlights
195-night World Cruise San Diego to Copenhagen TBA (not given in report) 60 late nights, 16 overnights; about 65% of the time in port
179-night World Cruise (new) San Diego to London January 3 – July 1, 2029 52 late nights, 16 overnights, 12 maiden ports
139-night World Cruise (new) Sydney to Copenhagen March 1 – July 17, 2029 43 late nights, 11 overnights, 4 maiden ports

All three visit five continents and 40 countries and territories. Azamara says each includes up to $44,000 in added value, including shipping (as described by Azamara), bonus onboard credit, a premium beverage package and unlimited wash-and-fold laundry, plus exclusive events, complimentary AzAmazing Evenings and select Overland Experiences. Fares were not published. Chief executive Dondra Ritzenthaler said the voyages offer “an extraordinary global adventure.”

What it means for airline travelers

  • One-way journeys: you will fly out to San Diego (SAN) or Sydney (SYD) and home from London or Copenhagen (CPH). Plan both long-haul legs before committing.
  • Sydney start: for the 139-night option, arriving in Australia two or more days early gives a buffer for long-haul delays or missed standby flights.
  • No change to interline or travel-industry cruise rates was mentioned.
