October 19, 2026 — Crystal says its UK cruise revenue grew year over year, helped by a strong third quarter. Nearly half of its guests were new to the brand.
The numbers Crystal shared
- UK cruise revenue was up year over year, with rising booking values and a broader customer base. Crystal did not give exact figures.
- August was its best month of the year so far, and three of its five best months fell in the third quarter.
- Nearly half of passengers were sailing with Crystal for the first time.
- Many recent bookings came from travel agents who had not sold Crystal before.
Luke Smith, Crystal’s vice president of trade sales for the UK and EMEA, said more guests are “discovering Crystal for the first time.”
New ships coming
Crystal is adding three new ocean ships. Crystal Grace is being built at Fincantieri and is due in 2028, with sister ships due in 2031 and 2034. Exact delivery dates are TBA.
What it means for airline travelers
- Strong demand usually means fewer last-minute deals. If a Crystal sailing is on your list, book early rather than waiting for a price drop.
- Crystal did not mention any travel-industry or interline rate programs.
