ORLANDO, Florida — October 29, 2026 — Allegiant Air and Sun Country Airlines move from Terminal B to Terminal A at Orlando International Airport (MCO) starting today, Thursday, October 29.
What is changing
| Item | New location |
|---|---|
| Effective date | Thursday, October 29, 2026 |
| Check-in | Terminal A, Level 3 |
| Baggage claim | Terminal A, Level 2 |
| Sun Country gates | Gates 1–29 |
| Allegiant gates | Gates 30–59 |
The move comes as MCO works through a larger improvement program that will eventually rename its terminals. The first of four new Gate Link trams entered service earlier in October.
What it means for non-revs
- Go to Terminal A, not B. If you are flying Allegiant or Sun Country out of Orlando, check in on Level 3 of Terminal A from today. Older trip notes, saved directions or ride-share drop-off habits may still point you to Terminal B.
- Meeting someone? Arriving Allegiant and Sun Country passengers now collect bags on Level 2 of Terminal A.
- Allow extra time in the first few days. Signage, staff and passengers are all adjusting to a new layout, so leave a little more time than usual to find your gate.
- Interline and ZED travelers: if you hold a staff-travel agreement with either airline, check its employee travel site for any listing or check-in changes linked to the move. None were reported.
