November 1, 2026 — Carnival Cruise Line has opened bookings for its 2028–2029 sailings from Baltimore, with Carnival Luminosa joining Carnival Miracle at the Maryland port and itineraries running from 6 to 14 days.
What was announced
Carnival Cruise Line (part of Carnival Corporation) has put its Baltimore program for the 2028–2029 season on sale, according to CruiseMapper. Two ships will share the homeport, with sailings listed through April 2029.
| Ship | Baltimore dates | Itineraries |

Where the ships will go
The program connects Baltimore with 22 destinations, including Carnival’s own Celebration Key, RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay and Amber Cove, plus Grand Turk, Bermuda, Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, Barbados, Martinique, Dominica, Antigua, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Croix, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Tortola and San Juan. The two fall Canada and New England trips on Carnival Miracle call at Portland, Maine; Halifax; and Saint John, New Brunswick.
CruiseMapper reported the line “has opened bookings for its 2028–2029 Baltimore programme.” No separate pricing was published in the report.
What it means for airline travelers
- Fly into BWI. Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is the closest major airport to the Baltimore cruise terminal. Washington’s Reagan National (DCA) and Dulles (IAD) are farther-away alternatives if seats into BWI are tight.
- Arrive the day before. If you are flying standby, plan to land the day before embarkation so a full flight or a missed connection does not cost you the cruise.
- Long Journeys sailings mean more time away. The 12- and 14-day Southern Caribbean trips need a longer block of time off; check your return-flight options for the disembarkation date before you book.
- Winter departures from the Mid-Atlantic. Sailings run through the winter months, so watch the weather for your flight into Baltimore and leave a buffer day.
- No travel-industry or interline rates were mentioned in the announcement.
