November 3, 2026 — Sea Cloud Cruises has named a new global marketing director and scheduled a 2027 “President’s Cruise” on its sailing ship Sea Cloud Spirit from Bilbao to Lisbon.

New marketing director
Jana Woczikowski has joined as global marketing director, based at the Hamburg headquarters. She previously led marketing at Lanserhof Group and earlier held senior marketing and e-commerce roles at TUI Cruises. A separate U.S. role will focus on travel advisors and consumers in North America, working with Kevin Smith.
What it means for airline travelers
- This is a one-way cruise. Plan to fly into Bilbao (BIO) and home from Lisbon (LIS). Booking the two legs separately is usually needed.
- Late July is peak summer in Europe; transatlantic flights fill up, so arrive a day or two early, especially if you are on standby. The optional Bilbao program from July 18 builds that cushion in.
