Contour Airlines leads today’s US route news, carving five weekly Dallas/Fort Worth flights out of its Muscle Shoals schedule starting in November. Overseas, Air Astana, Air Busan and HK Express opened new Asian routes for the winter, while flydubai suspended its Israel flights and Tropic Air set a final date for its Punta Gorda service in Belize. Everything below was announced or first reported between September 30 and October 1, 2026.

flydubai: Israel flights suspended

The move follows an in-flight incident that Israeli officials described as an attempted hijacking.
Tropic Air: Punta Gorda – Belize City
- Route: Punta Gorda (PND) – Belize City

The Belizean carrier pointed to sustained losses and uncertainty over planned changes to the country’s domestic aviation setup, calling the route “no longer commercially viable.”
Loganair: Isle of Man – London City
- Route: Isle of Man (IOM) – London City (LCY)

Loganair is dropping London City after a demand review and concentrating its London flying at Heathrow, where Isle of Man service grows to 11x weekly from October 25.
Wizz Air: Craiova base cuts

Wizz is also trimming frequencies from Craiova to Bari, London Luton, Milan Bergamo and Birmingham.

- American Airlines brings back a second daily Miami (MIA) – Caracas (CCS) flight on October 15, 2026, using an E175 alongside the existing 737-800.
- Copa Airlines goes to 3x daily Panama City (PTY) – Caracas (CCS) from November 1, 2026 on 737-800/MAX equipment.
- Turkish Airlines filed summer 2027 increases to Atlanta, Boston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, San Francisco, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.
