October 7, 2026 — Silversea has released 103 voyages for September 2028 to May 2029, calling at 219 destinations in 56 countries. General sales open on October 8, 2026.

The Royal Caribbean Group luxury line is using seven ships for the season and adding 29 new ports. It is also introducing S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyages, which are sailings built around a food season.

The season by region

Region Ships Voyages Dates
Mediterranean Silver Nova, Silver Dawn 17 October 2028 – March 2029
Caribbean Silver Ray, Silver Nova, Silver Spirit, Silver Shadow 38 November 2028 – March 2029
Grand South America Silver Nova 1 (75 nights) January 13 – March 29, 2029
Australia and New Zealand Silver Moon 10 October 2028 – March 2029
Asia Silver Moon, Silver Muse 26 September 2028 – May 2029

Caribbean cruises start from Miami, Fort Lauderdale and San Juan, with La Romana in the Dominican Republic as a new call. The 75-night South America voyage is a round trip from Fort Lauderdale with a Panama Canal transit, Antarctic Peninsula scenic cruising and overnights in Manaus, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Callao and Cartagena.

New ports named so far include Brindisi, Imperia, Batemans Bay, Phillip Island, Yeosu, Hitachinaka, Miyako-jima, Vigan, Muara, Sihanoukville, Makassar and Maizuru. The culinary program has three Wine & Truffle sailings on Silver Dawn from October to December and four Asian Markets sailings on Silver Muse between Singapore and Hong Kong.

Also: first cruise call for Puerto Cisnes, Chile

Silversea’s 260-guest Silver Cloud will make the first cruise ship call at Puerto Cisnes in Chile’s Aysén region in mid-November 2026 (exact date TBA), Cruise Industry News reports. The stop is part of a 20-day voyage from Valparaíso to Puerto Williams that includes Antarctica.

What it means for airline travelers

  • Book early if you want a specific sailing. Sales open October 8. Travel-industry rates are not mentioned in the coverage.
  • Caribbean gateways: Miami (MIA), Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and San Juan (SJU). All three have frequent service, but winter standby loads are heavy. Fly in a day early.
  • Grand South America is a round trip. It leaves and returns to Fort Lauderdale, so there is no open-jaw ticket to plan.
  • Asian Markets sailings are one-way. Singapore (SIN) to Hong Kong (HKG) means two different long-haul listings. Allow two buffer days.
  • Silver Cloud in Chile: Valparaíso is reached through Santiago (SCL). The voyage ends at remote Puerto Williams, so confirm onward travel with Silversea before listing for flights.
