October 8, 2026 — Every JetBlue-operated flight for Tuesday, October 13 and Wednesday, October 14 disappeared from sale overnight into October 7, and customers received cancellation and rebooking notices. JetBlue calls it an error and says original itineraries are back.

What happened

View from the Wing counted JetBlue flights by date early on October 7. All 550 routes were missing on the two affected days.

Date JetBlue flights found Same weekday a week later
Monday, October 12 921 915
Tuesday, October 13 0 803
Wednesday, October 14 0 815
Thursday, October 15 909 898

Customers reported being moved without warning. One 7 a.m. departure on October 13 was shifted to 8 p.m. the night before, and some October 14 returns were pushed to October 15. Searches by flight number still showed the flights as on time.

In a statement carried by BocaNewsNow on the afternoon of October 7, JetBlue said: “This was an error and we apologize for any confusion.” It added that it had reinstated the original itineraries. BocaNewsNow found Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach flights back on sale for both dates.

Reports on October 8 say most flights have reappeared, but some passengers still have changed bookings or missing seat assignments. Hoodline reports a JetBlue fee waiver dated October 7 that lets customers booked on October 13–14 move to travel between October 11 and 16. JetBlue has not disclosed the cause.

What it means for non-revs

  • Check your listing. If you are listed on JetBlue for October 13 or 14, including on a ZED fare, confirm it survived the wipe and the restore.
  • Do not trust loads yet for October 12 through 15. Revenue passengers who were auto-moved may not all have been moved back, and the waiver lets them shift across October 11–16.
  • Re-check the day before you fly. Seat maps and booked counts may keep changing as JetBlue cleans up.
  • No flights were actually cancelled as far as JetBlue has said, so the operation itself is expected to run.
