October 15, 2026 — Pendry Tampa, the luxury brand’s first hotel in Florida, has reached its full height on the Tampa Riverwalk. The 218-room hotel, which shares its tower with private residences, is planned to open in 2027.
What is happening
Pendry Hotels & Resorts and developer Two Roads Development marked the topping off of the building, with the news published on October 14, 2026. Topping off means the structure has reached its final height; interiors and fit-out still lie ahead. The partners say the hotel will open in 2027 but have not given a month.
The tower also holds 190 Pendry Residences, and the developers say more than 80% of them are under contract. Arquitectonica designed the building, Studio Munge is doing the interiors, and Clique Hospitality will run the restaurants and bars.
