October 14, 2026 — Princess Cruises is expanding in Southeast Asia, where Royal Princess is beginning a season from Singapore. The line has also put its 2028-29 Americas program on sale, which includes its first Amazon cruise since 2014.

Royal Princess arrives in Southeast Asia

Royal Princess, built in 2013, is finishing a repositioning voyage after its Alaska summer and is scheduled for a drydock in mid-October 2026. It will then sail from Singapore’s Marina Bay Cruise Centre alongside Diamond Princess and Sapphire Princess.

  • First Singapore cruise: 11 nights round-trip to Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam, including Laem Chabang (for Bangkok, with an overnight), Port Klang (for Kuala Lumpur), Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City and Ko Samui. Exact dates: TBA.
  • Last Singapore cruise of the season: a 15-night repositioning voyage from Singapore to Sydney in early November 2026, with calls in Indonesia and Australia.

  • Amazon: a new 64-day Circle South America voyage on Coral Princess, calling at Santarém, Brazil, and also visiting Antarctica and the Panama Canal. Departure date: TBA. Princess last sailed the Amazon in 2014.
  • Caribbean: 141 departures of 5 to 17 days from Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral, San Juan, New York and Barbados.
  • Panama Canal: 12 departures of 16 to 20 days on Coral, Crown, Island, Ruby and Star Princess.
  • Canada & New England: 17 departures on Regal Princess and Caribbean Princess. Îles de la Madeleine is a new port for 2028.
  • Hawaii: 14 departures round-trip from Los Angeles, San Francisco and Vancouver (Vancouver is returning for 2028-29).
  • Mexico: 35 departures from Los Angeles and San Francisco; the 10-day Baja Peninsula & Sea of Cortez sailings include an overnight in Cabo San Lucas.
  • South America & Antarctica: 13 departures on Majestic Princess and Coral Princess, including 17-day Antarctica & Patagonia voyages.

Early-booking offers include up to $300 in savings, up to $300 in onboard credit and $100 deposits, through February 16, 2027.

What it means for airline travelers

  • Singapore cruises leave from Marina Bay Cruise Centre, which is reached from Changi Airport (SIN). Long-haul standby seats to Asia can be hard to get, so plan to arrive at least a day early, and two days early around the November holidays.
  • The Singapore-to-Sydney repositioning voyage is one-way. Look at one-way flight options home from Sydney before you book.
  • The Coral Princess Amazon voyage lasts 64 days. Check the long-term rules for your pass and benefits before committing, and wait for the official embarkation port and dates.
  • No travel-industry or interline rate changes were mentioned.
