October 17, 2026 — The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, on Paradise Island in The Bahamas has reopened after its seasonal closure with 28 redesigned ocean-view rooms and suites in its original Hartford Wing, Caribbean Journal reported on October 16.

What is happening

The resort was scheduled to return on October 8, 2026, and guests are now staying in the refreshed rooms. The work covers 26 Hartford Ocean View Guestrooms and two Hartford Ocean View Suites in the Hartford Wing, which dates to 1962. Joanna Kerr Design led the redesign. The start date of the seasonal closure was not published.

Blue, linen-look wall coverings replace the darker wood paneling, and bathrooms get new stone tile and lighting. Every room in the wing faces the Atlantic and has outdoor space; ground-floor rooms open onto terraces facing the lawn.
