October 31, 2026 — Silversea Cruises has started its 2026–27 Antarctica season, which runs through March 2027, and is opening a new hotel in Puerto Williams, Chile, where every Antarctica Fly Cruise guest will stay before flying to the White Continent.
The season
- 40 voyages of 6 to 21 nights on Silver Endeavour, Silver Wind and Silver Cloud, including trips to South Georgia and the Falkland Islands.
- 29 Antarctica Fly Cruise trips: 14 round trips on Silver Endeavour and 15 one-way trips that combine a flight with a sea crossing. Charter flights, expedition activities and Zodiac outings are included on every departure.
- Fly Cruise guests fly on Silversea’s private charter from Santiago to Puerto Williams, which the line describes as the only direct flight between the two cities, then on to King George Island in Antarctica.
New hotel
The Cormorant at 55 South in Puerto Williams officially opens on November 5, 2026. Guests on earlier voyages get a preview stay.

What it means for airline travelers
- Fly Cruise trips start in Santiago (SCL). The charter to Puerto Williams is included, but getting to Santiago is up to you. Plan to arrive at least a day early. Standby on long-haul flights to South America can be tight, so leave yourself extra time.
- One-way voyages: check where your trip ends. The March 4, 2027 Silver Endeavour sailing finishes in Buenos Aires, so book your flight home from Ezeiza (EZE).
- No travel-industry or interline rates were mentioned.
