November 3, 2026 — Virgin Voyages has cancelled Resilient Lady‘s four-night April 28, 2027 sailing from Miami after the whole ship was chartered. Booked guests started receiving cancellation emails on November 2.

The cancelled sailing

Date Port
Wednesday, April 28, 2027 Depart PortMiami, 4 p.m.
Thursday, April 29 Key West
Friday, April 30 At sea
Saturday, May 1 Bimini
Sunday, May 2, 2027 Return to Miami

The charter group was not named. The sailing has been removed from Virgin’s website. Cruise Hive reports this is Virgin’s second charter-related cancellation in recent weeks, after Brilliant Lady‘s October 30, 2027 sailing.

Guest options

  • Move to Valiant Lady‘s four-night Miami sailing on May 6, 2027, which visits the same ports.
  • Rebook on another eligible four- or five-night sailing in April or May 2027.
  • Take a full refund with no fees or penalties.

Guests who rebook keep their original fare and promotions and get onboard credit (“Sailor Loot”): $100 per standard cabin or $300 per suite.

What it means for airline travelers

  • If you already booked flights to Miami for April 28, decide on your option first, then change flights. The Valiant Lady swap moves you eight days later.
  • Miami sailings are served by Miami (MIA) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL). Late April and early May are busy, so if you are on standby, fly in the day before.
  • Rebooking or a refund on the cruise does not cover your airfare; check your airline’s change rules.
  • No travel-industry or interline rates were mentioned.
