OMAHA, Nebraska — November 4, 2026 — The first section of a new concourse at Omaha’s Eppley Airfield (OMA) opens to South Terminal passengers today, Wednesday, November 4, as part of the airport’s renovation.

What happened

  • Opening: the first part of the new concourse opens to South Terminal passengers on November 4, 2026.
  • Next phase: a central pavilion with a single, unified security checkpoint is expected in February–March 2027 (exact date TBA).
  • Airlines and gate numbers: not confirmed in the source we used (TBA).

What it means for non-revs

  • Check your gate. If you fly from the South Terminal, your gate may be in the new section, so allow a few extra minutes the first time.
  • Security unchanged for now. The unified checkpoint is not due until early 2027.
