November 7, 2026 — Carnival Cruise Line has moved up sailaway times on two more ships, Carnival Pride in Baltimore and Carnival Adventure in Sydney. Earlier departures now apply to 316 sailings on six ships.
What changed
This update covers 70 sailings. Carnival Pride will leave Baltimore at 4:00 p.m. instead of 4:30 p.m. on 47 sailings, and Carnival Adventure will leave Sydney at 3:00 p.m. instead of 3:30 p.m. on 23 sailings. Routes, ports of call, time in port and return times are not changing.
| Ship (homeport) | New sailaway | Affected departures |
|---|---|---|
| Carnival Pride (Baltimore) | 4:00 p.m. (was 4:30 p.m.) | From December 6, 2026 (seven-night Bahamas: Half Moon Cay, Nassau, Celebration Key); all December 2026 departures; 2027 departures January 3 through November 21, except January 10 and October 31, 2027, which stay at 4:30 p.m. |
| Carnival Adventure (Sydney) | 3:00 p.m. (was 3:30 p.m.) | December 4, 7 and 27, 2026; in 2027: January 19, 23; May 8, 10, 14, 21; August 2, 6, 9, 13, 21, 24; September 2, 19, 23; October 2, 10, 14; November 12, 25 |
With these two ships added, the earlier-departure list covers Carnival Elation (Jacksonville, 77 sailings), Carnival Glory (Port Canaveral, 76), Carnival Liberty (New Orleans, 47), Carnival Pride (Baltimore, 47), Carnival Splendor (Sydney, 46) and Carnival Adventure (Sydney, 23). Carnival’s notice reminds guests that all must be aboard “no later than the final boarding time” on their boarding pass.
What it means for airline travelers
- Your boarding cutoff is earlier. Check the final boarding time on your pass again; it is tied to the new sailaway time.
- Baltimore: BWI is the main airport for the Baltimore cruise terminal. A morning arrival on sailing day now leaves less margin, so fly in the day before, especially if you are flying standby.
- Sydney: anyone flying long-haul into Sydney (SYD) for an Adventure cruise should plan to arrive at least a day early. Same-day connections are not a good idea with a 3:00 p.m. departure.
- Disembarkation and return times are not changing, so flights home are not affected.
- No change to travel-industry or interline fares was mentioned.
