It was a quiet 24 hours for route announcements. The main US item is United bringing back a nonstop it last flew in 2020: Houston Intercontinental to Chihuahua, Mexico, returning in late March 2027 on a regional jet. Overseas, Indian regional carrier StarAir is reported to be halting flights at Shivamogga Airport in Karnataka from November 21.

United dropped this Texas–northern Mexico route in 2020 and is now restoring it for the Northern Summer 2027 season. According to the filed schedule, UA4600 leaves Houston at 9:40 a.m. and reaches Chihuahua at 11:00 a.m. The return, UA4601, departs at 11:45 a.m. and gets into Houston at 2:49 p.m. AeroRoutes reported the restart from schedule data. We did not find a United press release about it.

StarAir has flown from Shivamogga to Hyderabad, Tirupati and Goa for about three years. According to an Indian Opinion report based on The Hindu, the airline has not opened bookings for flights after November 21. That would leave the airport with no scheduled flights, since IndiGo and SpiceJet pulled out of Shivamogga earlier. StarAir has not formally confirmed the halt, so treat it as likely rather than final. State agency KSIIDC has proposed 13 routes under a revised UDAN regional scheme, which it expects to start in early 2027.
