October 2, 2026 — Hilton has opened Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi, a new 210-room resort next to Līhuʻe Airport and the first Curio Collection by Hilton property in Hawaiʻi.
Hilton says the resort opened on September 30, 2026. It sits on a bluff inside the Hōkūala Resort community, above Nāwiliwili Bay and Kalapakī Beach. Hotel Dive describes it as a new-build owned by Silverwest Hotels, with Hilton operating it under the Curio flag.
The 210 rooms include 23 suites, each with floor-to-ceiling windows and a private lānai. Dining is at Figueira, a Portuguese-Hawaiian restaurant, and The Wiliwili, a casual poolside venue. There is a pool, fitness center, full-service spa, tennis and pickleball courts, more than 14,000 square feet of event space and access to the Jack Nicklaus Signature Ocean Course. A cultural program, E Ala Ka Pilina, was built with local practitioners and the Kauaʻi Museum.
