What it means for airline travelers
- Airports: Shenzhen Bao’an (SZX) is the local airport. Hong Kong (HKG) is nearby and has far more long-haul service, which gives standby travelers more options. Allow time for the border crossing if you route that way.
- Documents: These cruises start and end in mainland China and call in Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei or Singapore. Check entry rules for each country and for re-entering China before you travel.
- Arrive a day early. With only nine sailings, there is no next-week departure to fall back on if a standby flight does not work out.
- Interline rates: The line sells mainly in the Chinese market. No travel-industry program is mentioned.
