October 7, 2026 — The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón has unveiled a property-wide redesign, with new guest rooms, a new lobby and three new dining venues that are all now open. The 295-room golf resort in Naples, Florida stayed open while the work was done.

Owner Host Hotels & Resorts started the project in May 2026 and aimed to finish in the fall. The resort announced the result on October 5. The cost has not been disclosed beyond “multi-million-dollar.”

What is new

  • Rooms and suites: redesigned by Parker Torres Design in a lighter, residential style.
  • Lobby: rebuilt with marble inlays and a custom alabaster chandelier.
  • Presidential Suite: new, with an entry vestibule, bar lounge and dining room.
  • Club Lounge: refurnished.
  • Palmera: a bar and restaurant serving Florida Gulf Coast food.
  • Fenrose: a French-style breakfast restaurant.
  • Café Fenrose: an all-day market and espresso bar.
  • Swaying Palm: a new 2,700-square-foot event room with golf course views.

The resort keeps its two Greg Norman-designed 18-hole golf courses, clay tennis courts, the Mouratoglou Tennis Center and The Reservoir, a pool complex with a 600-foot lazy river.

General manager Andrew Roberts said the design blends “a classic European getaway” with the warmth of Naples.

What it means for airline travelers

  • Fly into Fort Myers (RSW). The hotel lists it at 21 miles. Naples Municipal is closer but is not a major airline airport.
  • No hotel airport shuttle. The resort says neither airport has shuttle service. Plan on a rental car or a booked ride.
  • Budget for the resort fee. It is $60 a night. It covers the pool complex, golf range access, bike rentals, internet and a daily shuttle to the beachfront Ritz-Carlton, Naples.
  • The construction is done. The resort presents the redesign as complete, with all three new venues open. That removes the disruption risk that applied over the summer.
  • This is not the beach hotel. Tiburón is the inland golf resort. Beach access is by shuttle to its sister property.
  • Bonvoy applies. No airline-employee or travel-industry rate was published in the sources we opened.
