October 9, 2026 — The Nora Hotel opens in West Palm Beach, Florida, on October 19, 2026. Reservations are open, and Time Out reports rates from $395 a night.
The 201-room hotel comes from hotelier Sean MacPherson and BD Hotels, the New York group led by Richard Born and Ira Drukier. It is BD Hotels’ first ground-up hotel outside New York City. It is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World.
The hotel is at 1135 North Railroad Avenue, in the new Nora District north of downtown. The opening date was first reported on October 1; fresh coverage this week added rates and details.

What it means for airline travelers
- The local airport is 5 miles away. That is the distance on the hotel’s Leading Hotels listing. Search for it under the code DJT: local station WFLX reports that Palm Beach International was renamed in July and that its code changed from PBI to DJT on August 18, 2026.
- Fort Lauderdale (FLL) is the backup, 51 miles away on the same listing.
- Rail works too. The listing puts West Palm Beach Station about a mile from the hotel.
- It opens at the start of Palm Beach season. Expect rates to climb through winter.
- New hotels have teething troubles. If you book the first weeks, confirm which restaurants and the spa are open.
- Industry rates: none of the sources mention airline-employee or travel-industry pricing.
