What it means for airline travelers
- Using an ATVO bus in the Venice area on November 13? Check the strike hours when they are posted and plan another way to the airport.
- December 14 at Rome’s airports: One handler’s strike can slow check-in and bags for the airlines it serves. Ask your airline nearer the date.
- Italian strikes keep guaranteed time bands. Travel inside them when you can.
- Check the ministry calendar before any Italy trip. New strikes are added most days.
