October 13, 2026 — The Phoenician, Marriott’s 585-room Luxury Collection resort at the foot of Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale, says it has finished a multi-million-dollar refresh of every guestroom, its corridors and its Canyon Suites.
What is happening
The resort announced on October 12, 2026 that the property-wide refresh is complete. The work covered all guestrooms and hallways plus The Canyon Suites, the resort’s boutique hotel-within-a-hotel, including villas that opened in February 2026. The resort did not publish the cost or the exact completion date.
Parker Torres Design led the interiors, which draw on the heritage of the Pima people and the surrounding desert: custom carpets with tribal-inspired patterns, layered textiles, new lighting and an earth-tone palette.
