October 13, 2026 — Downtown Phoenix has a new upscale hotel. Denū Hotel & Spa, a 236-room, 17-story property near the Phoenix Convention Center, has formally announced its opening, with a hammam-inspired spa and a rooftop bar.
What is happening
The hotel announced its opening on October 12, 2026. Deep Arrival had reported in August that the hotel was scheduled to open on September 16, 2026; the October announcement did not give a specific first-guest date. Denū is the newest member of The Meritage Collection and is managed by Pacific Hospitality Group. It is owned by a partnership of Pacific Hospitality Group, Berger Holdings and JWG Investments, an affiliate of Sunbelt Holdings. The announcement does not link the hotel to a major chain.

What it means for airline travelers
- Getting there: Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) is close; Expedia’s listing puts it about a 17-minute drive away. Allow extra time when big events at the convention center add to traffic.
- Loyalty: The announcement does not mention any major chain loyalty program, so do not count on earning hotel points here.
- Resort fee: The opening announcement did not mention one. Earlier reporting cited by Deep Arrival mentioned a $39 resort fee, so check the total price before you book.
- Industry and airline-employee rates: None were mentioned in the sources.
