October 13, 2026 — Scenic Group, the Australian-founded parent of Scenic and Emerald Cruises, is marking its 40th anniversary this month with onboard events and a limited-time booking offer for travelers in the United States and Latin America.

The anniversary

Scenic was founded in Australia in 1986 by Glen Moroney, who is still chairman. Through October 2026 the group is holding dining events, themed entertainment and commemorative experiences. Two loyalty departures are planned: a Scenic Discovery Yachts Chairman’s Voyage in the U.S. with events in Wilmington, Charleston and Key West, and a Scenic Romantic Rhine & Moselle river cruise with a Switzerland extension and a dinner in Lucerne hosted by the company’s management. Dates for these departures are TBA.
