It was a quiet weekend for fresh route announcements: our sweep of airline newsrooms and the usual route trackers turned up no newly announced routes and no newly announced exits in the past 24 hours. What did make news was two launches reported today: easyJet opened a new year-round link between Belfast City and London Southend this morning, and United’s new Saturday nonstop from Newark to St. Croix completed its first flights over the weekend, with an all-local cockpit crew.

New Routes

No airline announced a brand-new route in the past 24 hours that we could verify. The two items below are routes whose first flights were reported today.
