October 3, 2026 — Silversands Beach House, a 28-room cliffside hotel on Portici Beach in Grenada, is now adults-only. Guests must be 16 or older, and the change took effect immediately.
The hotel opened in 2024 as the smaller sibling of Silversands Grand Anse. Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows and covered outdoor terraces. On site are Azzurro, an Italian-Caribbean restaurant, an outdoor gym and a Wellness Room for holistic treatments. The hotel won a Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice award in 2026.
Families are being pointed to Silversands Grand Anse, a short shuttle ride away on Grand Anse Beach. It has 43 suites, eight villas, a kids’ club and a spa, and it remains family-friendly. Resort manager Clarista Hillaire said the aim is “a resort experience driven by tranquility and a sense of privacy.”

What it means for airline travelers

- Couples get a quieter option. With only 28 rooms, the hotel can fill quickly in the winter high season, so book early.
- Getting there: Grenada’s Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND) is the island’s gateway. Check loads carefully if you are flying standby.
