What it means for airline travelers
- Manchester Airport: TransPennine Express serves the airport. On October 11, 18 and 25, check before you travel and use another operator or a coach if your train is not running.
- Chiltern routes: London Marylebone to Oxford and Birmingham should mostly run on October 10 and 17, but check the day before.
- Refunds: keep your ticket. Delay compensation applies on strike days, and NET is refunding contactless taps made on its strike days.
- London: no change to how you reach Heathrow or Gatwick.
