October 6, 2026 — Crystal will add five top-category suites to Crystal Serenity during a spring 2028 drydock in Lisbon, including a two-bedroom Crystal Owner’s Suite.

The new suites sit midship on Deck 11 and go on sale for sailings from May 5, 2028. Exact drydock dates, fares and any sailings removed to make room for the yard stay were not published.

The new suites

Suite Number Interior Veranda
Crystal Owner’s Suite 1 1,722 sq ft 409 sq ft
Junior Penthouse Premium Suite 4 861 sq ft each 205 sq ft each

The Owner’s Suite has two bedrooms, a library, a fireplace and a marble bathroom with a Jacuzzi. The four Premium Suites join six existing Junior Penthouse Deluxe Suites. Separately, the ship’s Aquamarine Classic Suite category on Deck 10 is being renovated in a drydock this month.

Senior vice president of hotel operations Bernie Leypold said the line is “continuing to thoughtfully evolve Crystal Serenity.”

Key dates

  • Drydock: spring 2028, Lisbon; exact dates TBA.
  • New suites available: sailings from May 5, 2028.
  • Bookings open: TBA.

What it means for airline travelers

  • Nothing changes for current bookings. The work is more than a year out and no cancellations were announced.
  • Watch spring 2028 schedules. Sailings just before and after a Lisbon drydock often start or end there. Lisbon (LIS) is the airport; the first post-drydock embarkation port is TBA.
  • Interline rates: the announcement does not mention travel-industry pricing, and new top suites are rarely where industry discounts appear.
