October 6, 2026 — Park Hyatt Riviera Maya, the first all-inclusive resort to carry Hyatt’s top luxury name, is now bookable for stays from December 3, 2026. The Points Guy published the fullest look yet at how it will work on October 5.
The resort has 148 rooms and suites, all with ocean views and outdoor space. It sits in the private AMAI enclave at Carretera Federal 307, km 333, in Puerto Morelos, about 20 minutes from Cancún International Airport. Standard rooms measure 52 square meters. The single Penthouse Suite is 214 square meters with an 81-square-meter terrace.
General manager Sam Kirby told The Points Guy the idea is a normal Park Hyatt stay with the bill settled up front: “It’s just the fact that you pay a higher room rate, but everything’s included.” Each room is assigned a resort ambassador, and the minibar is stocked to the guest’s preferences.
What is included
- À la carte meals and drinks at seven venues: Bruma (steakhouse), IK’AL (beach grill), Nutre Kitchen (international), Patisserie Market and Café, Brisa (pool bar), Living Room (lounge bar) and The Botanist (cocktail bar).
- Top-shelf spirits and a wine selection, 24-hour room service and minibar refills.
- Laundry service.
- Pool and beach service, non-motorized water sports and evening entertainment.
- Hydrotherapy access at Velara Spa & Wellness, plus a 24-hour fitness center.
Rare wines, premium spirits and ultra-premium steaks are sold as extras. The resort has four pools, one of them adults-only, a 300-meter private beach and access to the El Tinto golf course. Dogs up to 10 kilograms are accepted for $75 a night.
