October 9, 2026 — 360 Hotel, a 31-room countryside hotel in South Iceland, has joined Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ L.V.X. Collection as the group’s first member in Iceland. An October 8 announcement describes the hotel as open and gives no opening day. Rates start at US$1,050 a night.
The hotel is owned by two Icelandic families. It is on the Ring Road near Selfoss, about an hour from Reykjavík.

What it means for airline travelers
- Keflavík (KEF) is the airport. The regional tourism board puts the hotel about 110 km from Keflavík and 70 km from Reykjavík.
- Rent a car. One booking site estimates the drive from KEF at about an hour and a half and recommends hiring a car.
- Small and expensive. With 31 rooms and four-figure rates, this is a special-occasion stay.
- Industry rates: the sources do not mention airline-employee or travel-industry pricing.
