What it means for airline travelers
- A round trip from Dubrovnik (DBV) means one airport for both directions.
- Dubrovnik’s flights are heavily seasonal. In April and October there are fewer nonstop options, so standby travelers should plan a connection through a European hub and arrive a day early.
- In July and August, flights into Dubrovnik run full. Shoulder-season departures are the safer choice for non-rev travel.
- With only 34 guests, there is no room to board late. If you miss the departure, catching up at a small island is difficult.
- Fourteen meals over seven nights means some lunches or dinners ashore at your own cost. Budget for them.
- Travel-industry or interline rates: TBA. Ask Variety or your interline agency.
