The biggest route news of the past 24 hours for U.S. travelers comes from Brazil: GOL will stop flying to the United States from February 1 to March 27, 2027, pausing all six of its Miami and Orlando routes. Elsewhere, Air Canada added Montreal–Seville for September 2027 using the Airbus A321XLR. Air India announced a new Delhi–Osaka route and confirmed a round of European winter cuts. ITA Airways plans a Rome–Caracas route, and Caribbean Airlines and Flair Airlines both added winter flying.

Air Canada: Montreal – Seville

Air Canada will be the only North American carrier flying nonstop to the Andalusian capital. The first Montreal departure is September 8, 2027, with the return from Seville the next day. Flights start at three a week and go to four a week in early October 2027. The route uses the Airbus A321XLR, set up with 14 lie-flat Signature Class seats and 168 Economy seats. Chief Commercial Officer Mark Galardo said the route “solidifies our position as the leading carrier by seat capacity between Canada and Spain.” Conflict: AeroRoutes gives October 2 for the step-up to four weekly flights, and Aviacionaldia gives October 1. Air Canada’s own release was not checked.
