Galveston has four cruise terminals and expects a record 445 sailings and 3.9 million passenger movements in 2026. What it means for airline travelers
- Nothing changes for embarkation day yet. Galveston is served by Houston’s two airports, Hobby (HOU) and Bush Intercontinental (IAH); both are a drive away from the port, so leave time for the road transfer.
- If you are flying standby into Houston, aim to arrive the day before; Houston has plenty of flights from both airports.
- No travel-industry or interline rates were mentioned.
