IDILIQ Hotels & Resorts announced on October 29 that the property, which it calls its most premium opening so far, opened this month under Wyndham’s upscale Wyndham Grand brand. No exact opening day was given. Reservations are open.
Each residence is spread over two floors, with open-plan living space, floor-to-ceiling windows, a full kitchen, a large terrace and a private garden. Most have a private pool or hot tub, and daily housekeeping is included.

Guests can use La Cala Resort’s spa, gym and racket-sports club. For restaurants, the release points guests to sister property Wyndham Grand Costa del Sol, about a 20-minute drive away.

- Getting there: Málaga Airport (AGP) is about a 30-minute drive, according to the release. With main dining 20 minutes away by car, a rental car will make the stay much easier.
- Who it suits: With two- and three-bedroom units and kitchens, this is built for families, groups and golf trips rather than a quick overnight stay.
- Still finishing: The gym and co-working space are not due until 2027. Until then you’ll use La Cala Resort’s facilities.
