October 6, 2026 — AIDA Cruises has opened bookings for winter 2028–29, covering October 2028 to April 2029 on seven ships, with long voyages from Germany to Brazil and Mauritius.

The German-market Carnival Corporation brand put AIDAprima, AIDAdiva, AIDAbella, AIDAluna, AIDAsol, AIDAstella and AIDAcosma on sale. Sailings on AIDAnova, AIDAperla and AIDAmar, including a world cruise, open later. Fares were not published.

Winter 2028–29 highlights

What it means for airline travelers

  • German-language product. AIDA sells mainly to German-speaking guests, which is worth knowing before booking.
  • Caribbean gateways: La Romana and Santo Domingo (SDQ) are the homeports. Punta Cana (PUJ) usually has far more flights but needs a road transfer.
  • German gateways: Hamburg (HAM) serves Hamburg and Kiel sailings. Warnemünde is near Rostock, reached by rail from Hamburg or Berlin (BER).
  • Long round trips simplify flights. The Brazil and Norway voyages start and end in Hamburg, so one round trip covers them. Winter weather in northern Europe is a reason to arrive a day early.
  • Singapore (SIN) on December 21, 2028 falls in the year-end peak, when standby is hardest.
  • Interline rates: the report does not mention travel-industry pricing. Fares are TBA.
