October 6, 2026 — Princess Cruises has made its AI cruise-planning app available inside Anthropic’s Claude assistant, about a week after launching it in ChatGPT.
The Carnival Corporation brand describes the tool as an AI-powered app for cruise planning and management. It works in Claude on the web, on desktop and on mobile, for accounts on plans that support connectors.
How to turn it on
- Sign in to Claude and open Customize, then Connectors.
- Choose Discover and search for “Princess Cruises.”
- Add the connector and follow the sign-in or permission prompts.
- Enable the connector in a conversation. On mobile, tap the + button in the chat and choose Connectors.
The report does not say whether a booking can be completed inside the chat or whether the tool only searches cruises and manages existing reservations. Pricing shown in the tool was not described.
Key dates
- ChatGPT launch: about September 28, 2026.
- Claude launch: reported October 5, 2026.
What it means for airline travelers
- Useful for research. It is a quick way to compare Princess itineraries and dates against your flight benefits and days off.
- Interline rates are a separate channel. Nothing in the report says the tool shows travel-industry rates, so keep booking those through your usual interline agency.
- Check the embarkation port on any result and plan to arrive a day early if you fly standby.
