October 7, 2026 — Walt Disney World’s next resort hotel, Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, opens for booking by the general public on October 8, 2026. The 967-room resort opens on July 1, 2027.

Disney is releasing rooms in three steps. Disney Vacation Club members could book from October 6. Annual Passholders can book from today, October 7. Everyone else can book from October 8, online or by phone at (407) 934-7639.

The resort is a Disney Vacation Club property on Bay Lake, in the Magic Kingdom resort area. It sits between Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness, on the former River Country site. Guests who are not DVC members can book rooms for cash, subject to availability.
