Jessica Tyler, senior vice president of American’s Integrated Operations Center, called the group vital to the operation and pointed to competitive pay and benefits.
What it means for non-revs
- One less labor risk. Dispatchers plan and release every flight. With a five-year deal ratified, there is no labor dispute in American’s operations control center to worry about.
- No change to travel benefits reported. The report does not mention any changes to pass travel for this group or anyone else.
- For airline folks: PAFCA now has contracts in place at American and represents dispatchers at Delta, United and Endeavor, so this deal is a reference point for dispatcher pay across the industry.
