October 20, 2026 — Norwegian Cruise Line scheduled the reveal of the sixth and final ship in its Prima class for this morning, October 20, at 9:15 a.m. Eastern. Norwegian’s own Prima Class newsroom page now lists the ship as Norwegian Bella, calling it “the grand finale” of the class. Parent company: Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings.
What we know
- Name: Norwegian Bella, as listed on Norwegian’s Prima Class newsroom page. Full announcement details were not yet published by news outlets at the time of writing.
- Class: the sixth and last Prima-class ship, following Norwegian Prima, Viva, Aqua, Luna and Aura.
- Size: about 170,000 gross tons and roughly 3,880 guests at double occupancy, according to Cruise Industry News.
- Builder and delivery: Fincantieri in Italy; delivery in 2028, per Cruise Industry News’ orderbook. Exact delivery date TBA.
- Homeport, maiden voyage and on-sale date: TBA.
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings is due to report third-quarter results on October 29, 2026.
What it means for airline travelers
- Nothing to book yet: the homeport and first sailings have not been announced. Recent Prima-class ships have launched with inaugural seasons announced well in advance, so watch for an on-sale date before planning flights.
- When the homeport is confirmed, check how many daily flights serve it; inaugural sailings sell out early and flights around them can be full.
- No travel-industry or interline rate changes were mentioned.
