What it means for airline travelers
- Bangkok is served by two airports, Suvarnabhumi (BKK) for most long-haul flights and Don Mueang (DMK) for many low-cost carriers. The announcement does not give transfer times from either.
- Location tip: the hotel is next to a river pier, so the Chao Phraya boats are an easy way to reach the temples and avoid Bangkok traffic.
- This is a conversion of an existing hotel, so expect a finished product rather than a construction site, although signage and branding may still be settling in.
- It participates in World of Hyatt. The announcement does not mention travel-industry or airline-employee rates.
