What it means for airline travelers
- Six homeports means more ways to fly in. Sydney (SYD), Melbourne (MEL), Brisbane (BNE), Adelaide (ADL), Perth (PER) and Auckland (AKL) all have Princess departures — pick the homeport your airline or partners serve best.
- Long one-way and round-Australia voyages: confirm whether a sailing ends where it began before you plan the flight home.
- World cruise from Dover: fly into one of London’s airports, such as Heathrow (LHR) or Gatwick (LGW), and allow time for the ground transfer to Dover. If you’re on standby, plan to arrive in London at least a day ahead.
- The early-booking perks run only to February 16, 2027 — if you plan to book, note the window.
- No travel-industry or interline rates were mentioned in the announcement.
