What it means for airline travelers
- Airports: London Heathrow (LHR) is the main long-haul gateway for central London; Mayfair is in the West End near Green Park.
- Not a chain hotel: This is an independent hotel, so there are no Marriott, Hilton or Hyatt points to earn or burn here.
- Soft-opening period: Teddy’s bar is not open until November, so early guests will find one outlet still to come.
- Industry rates: The announcement did not mention travel-industry or airline-employee rates.
