FRANKFURT, Nov. 7, 2026 — German leisure carrier Condor and flight attendants’ union UFO have agreed a new framework collective agreement that rules out strikes by cabin or cockpit crews for at least two years.
The agreement
- The framework agreement (Manteltarifvertrag) was confirmed on Friday, Nov. 6, and takes effect on Jan. 1, 2027.
- It brings at least two years with no strikes by cabin or cockpit crews. Pay will not be renegotiated until the end of 2028.
- UFO says crews get more predictable free time, more reliable days off and clearer workload rules.
- It follows a pay deal already reached with Condor’s pilots.
- Talks took place against high kerosene prices and German aviation taxes and fees.
What it means for non-revs
- Strike risk at Condor is now low through at least the end of 2028. That makes it a more predictable option for leisure trips out of Frankfurt and other German bases.
- No changes to staff travel or interline arrangements were mentioned.
