October 4, 2026 — Andaz Turks and Caicos at Grace Bay is now scheduled to open on April 1, 2027, two months ahead of the June 1 date Hyatt gave when it opened bookings this summer, Caribbean Journal reports.
The resort sits in the Bight area of Providenciales, on Grace Bay Beach. It has 59 hotel rooms and 73 residences. Hyatt’s property page lists the address as 1 Penn’s Road, The Bight Settlement.
It will be Hyatt’s first hotel in Turks and Caicos and, in Caribbean Journal’s words, “the only Andaz-branded resort in the Caribbean.” The project was first announced in 2018 with a 2021 target, and construction formally began in 2023.

What it means for airline travelers
- Confirm the dates before you plan around April. The earlier opening comes from Caribbean Journal’s October 3 report. Hyatt’s property page showed no opening date when we checked today, so make sure April and May nights are bookable on hyatt.com first.
- This is a points option in an expensive market. One Mile at a Time reported in June that the resort is a World of Hyatt Category 8 property, at 35,000 to 75,000 points a night for a standard room.
- Cash rates are high. Caribbean Journal found June 2027 rooms from $1,297 a night when bookings opened. One Mile at a Time noted that taxes and service charges push a rate near $1,300 to about $1,800.
- Airport: Providenciales International (PLS) is the island’s airport. None of today’s sources give flight details, so check loads and schedules for your own carrier.
- Travel-industry rates: none have been published for this resort.
