What it means for airline travelers

  • Clubs and standby do not mix well. Golf bags are oversized baggage and can be left behind on full flights. Travel a day or two early, or ship the clubs ahead.
  • Embarkation ports are TBA in the report. Confirm the start and end ports with Azamara before you plan flights. Some may be one-way.
  • The golf package is extra. Any travel-industry discount would apply to the cruise fare. Ask whether it covers the golf add-on.
  • Interline rates: not mentioned in the report.
